Season 3, Episode 1.
So it’s been quite some time since we last did our podcast, but I do have a lot of news I have to share.
Yesterday we just did our play for the parents called Feast of the Gods, and they just, there’s a lot of fighting just because they don’t have any food.
It’s ridiculous.
And I recently got an award, like two weeks ago, I think.
And, um, you say some stuff, I can’t think anymore.
The end of term on Wednesday.
Yeah, for me, not for you.
You have an extra day.
Students' last day on Wednesday, teachers' last day on Thursday.
On Wednesday I’m going to have my first sleepover.
World Cup started.
World Cup started when?
Last Thursday.
Yep.
And, go on.
I asked my dad here that if England won the World Cup, if I could dye the tips of my hair blonde, he said yes.
If! I’m counting on England for this.
If England win the World Cup.
England won the World Cup like 200 years ago.
Only once, Yumo.
Oh wait, so that’s a multiple of 10 ago.
Is that 60 years ago?
Oh my god.
Yeah, yeah, would have been 14 when England won the World Cup.
What?
What?
Oh my god.
Yumo, you’re either in or you’re out.
Yumo’s playing Zelda.
And I just got a new pixel art notebook and I just finished drawing my first Pokeball, the Ultra.
We’ll send you the picture, Josh.
Oh, anyway, we were going to talk about the film we watched recently.
Oh yeah, Pacific Rim.
It’s about…
Give us a very brief overview of the film.
Giant robot fight kaiju.
Monster.
Yeah, basically.
And win.
Yeah, they win, obviously.
If you’ve seen enough movies, there’s no need to worry.
They always win most of the time.
It was fun, right?
Yeah, it was fun.
You have anything else to say about it?
It was fun.
I think the monsters look really cool.
I can see why that…
The robots were cool too.
I can see why that kaiju lover wanted to see a kaiju in real life.
What was I going to say?
You need to give it a score out of 10.
Now, me and my friends call it…
We rate it on the pineapple scale.
So how many pineapples out of 10 for Pacific Rim?
Nine pineapples.
Nine pineapples.
I give it…
Seven and a half pineapples.
Yuma, how many pineapples for Pacific Rim?
Ten.
Yuma gives it ten.
Out of ten?
Yeah.
Ten pineapples out of ten.
I guess that means he didn’t want to play his iPad when he was watching it.
How many…
What else?
What else?
What else are we going to do in the holiday?
I’m going to start my swimming lessons.
And after the swimming lesson, there’s a place where there’s actually slides and volleyball places where you can play water volleyball.
And you can just play there however long you want after the lesson.
I’m excited.
And then soon you’ve got badminton.
Torture.
One more hour until the lesson starts.
Can I just skip it?
We might be moving too, hopefully.
Hopefully.
Fingers crossed.
Anything else?
One more thing, bye.
Bye.
Bye.
