Efficiency is highly overrated; Goofing off is highly underrated. Regularly scheduled sabbaths, sabbaticals, vacations, breaks, aimless walks and time off are essential for top performance of any kind. The best work ethic requires a good rest ethic.
I feel this. I am conciously making an effort to get up and just walk around instead of always being still, at my desk.
At first try I think I much prefer the timeline without replies that you can now do in @Gluon!

We were in the taxi on the way to school. Elise said something to me in annoyance, love (maybe) but not anger.
Her single word made me nameless. Could be anyone.
Isn’t.
It defines her as much as me and us.
There are 8 billion people in world. An incomprehensible number.

Interesting chat during reading with the 7/8 year olds in my class about watching things when I was young. “You had to watch what was on tv at the time it was on. If you missed it then bad luck.”
The balance between solitude and loneliness is a knife’s edge.
I feel this one so much. Between craving solitude because life is so full between work and family and feeling loneliness because I’m stuck here in China.

Walking and talking with Yumo was just amazing. Sure the location was quiet, cool, in nature but he’s at a stage where he just babbles…
And it’s glorious. With the added twist of him switching to Chinese when his English is lacking.
