I definitely think I’d recover sooner from general cold, viruses etc if I didn’t have kids. The additional stress has to be a factor.

We Can Be Heroes is the follow up film to Sharkboy and Lavagirl, which I haven’t watched, but Elise and I watched it this morning in bed.
It was terrible I thought but Eise LOVED it. With that said, I was happy to watch so it can’t have been that bad. Decent cast too! 🎬

Not feeling overwhelmed today. A strange feeling. The metaphor i had in mind was that I was forcing myself to step back from a downward slope. So instead of gathering speed, I’m standing still.
Another early, short walk. This time listening to to Alt-J. It’s not 7am and I have been up for two hours. This will not last. I am enjoying it though.
Forgot my laptop at work. Can’t do any work now. Gutted.
Faster than last October by nearly two minutes somehow. Awesome.

Another day another game. This one is called Blokus. You place your pieces as others do. Simple enough for Yumo to pick up and so we can all play together.

In the coffee shop, I realised I liked the music. Turns out this lady was playing this instrument. Like an inverted steel drum, maybe? We loved the sounds she was making.
