Julia Frisch

2005 OMRRC Scholarship Recipient!
Dear OMRRC Officers and Members,
Thank you so much for the $500 scholarship.  It was a
real honor to receive this scholarship, and the money will
be put to good use in furthering my education.  I would like
to thank the club for raising money to fund the scholarship,
and I want to thank the committee for taking the time to review
my application.
I will be attending Bowling Green State University and
majoring in Sports Enterprise.  Although I will be living in
the dorm, I am still close to home and hope to continue to
attend rabbit shows with my mom.  Throughout my years of showing
I have learned a lot from the members of the club and have
enjoyed everyone's company.
Thanks again for selecting me to receive the 2005 Ohio
Mini Rex Rabbit Club scholarship.
Sincerely,
Julia Frisch

2004 OMRRC Scholarship Recipient!

Hi! My name is Katie Hackett.  First of all, I would like to thank the Ohio Mini Rex Rabbit Club for selecting me as a scholarship recipient.  Secondly, I would like to tell everyone a little about myself.  In my spare time I enjoy freelance photography, reading, scrap booking, and playing the drums on everything (just ask my mom about that one!).  My ultimate goal is to become a high school art teacher.  In order to achieve that goal this fall I will be attending Wright State University majoring in Art Education.

2003Ohio State Rabbit Breeders Association Scholarship!!

Janice Frisch

2003 ARBA Scholarship!!!
Janice Frisch has been raising Opal and Lynx Mini Rex for 10 years.  This past May she was selected to receive a $500 scholarship from the Ohio State Rabbit Breeders Association.  In order to be selected for this award, Janice had to fill out a scholarship application that contained questions about rabbit clubs in which she was involved, leadership roles that she had held in rabbit clubs, and rabbit related awards that she had won.  She then had to write a 250 word essay on how her experiences with rabbits had benefited her future plans.  She also submitted her high school transcript and a picture.  Janice will be attending Ohio University in the fall as a member of the Honors Tutorial College.  She will be majoring in Computer Science.
